Solids are trapped inside the bag, making the process efficient, clean, and easy to maintain.Key Components Component Description Housing body Usually made of SS304, SS316, or MS (mild steel), cylindrical in shape Top lid/cover Clamped or bolted for secure sealing Filter bag Made of felt or mesh, with micron ratings from 1m to 200m Inlet & outlet ports For fluid entry and exit Support basket Holds the filter bag in place and prevents collapse Pressure gauge (optional) Monitors internal pressure Working Principle Unfiltered fluid enters the housing under pressure. The filter bag traps solids while allowing clean fluid to pass through. Filtered fluid exits through the outlet. Once the bag is full, its removed and replaced.
